YAY!!! FEBRUARY 19TH IS MY 20-YEAR DEVIANTART ANNIVERSARY!!! 😻 😻 😻 OMG!!! I cannot believe this it is my DeviantArt 20th Anniversary. Wow! February 19th, 2004 is the day I joined DeviantArt 20 years ago. And from the screenshot above that I got from Archive.org, it looks like I joined at 1:23 PM. A lot has changed since then. I don't remember how I came by DA though. At the time, DA was only 3 years old, not 4 yet, because DA's birthday is August 7, 2000. Anyway, a lot has changed since then. Forum Updates Redesign and Moderation Redesign and Restructure DeviantArt Forums have been recently updated on December 11, 2023 to bring it into the Eclipse design to uplift it to resemble the rest of the site. Some of the pre-existing forum categories have been removed, renamed, and/or merged for various reasons such as lack of use compared to the rest, excessive spams, divisive and problematic areas that resulted in extensive moderation by staff in those forums. Moderation With the redesign and restructuring of the Forums, Community Volunteers (CVs) are not in charge of moderating the forums anymore. All moderation will be carried out by @moonbeam13 and staff of Customer Service. There are no Forum CV position. DeviantArt staff will be monitoring forums and fully moderated by staff only. As a result, if you wish to report any thread(s) or any forum activity for any reason, please tag staff working in CS and/or @moonbeam13 . Please be patient while they update any related KB

Good afternoon everyone! 👋 This is a little promo for another of @Charity-Guild's amazing charity proyects in which I'll be participating, since I think it'd be great to get more people on board for the 2024 edition of "Coloring Books for Charity"! ✍📚 I'm happy to participate not only because I love coming up with coloring pages and I have a lovely FF7 idea in mind to submit, but because this project will benefit the Sick Kids Hospital, as ReallyColor will professionally print the coloring books so that they can be distributed to the children who are patients at the hospital. 😊💖 This neat project has already been done in 2016 (as you can see below 👇) and the artists involved posted many coloring pages that no doubt made the children who were having a hard time in the hospital very happy. 🖌️ I spend a lot of time in hospitals and can attest that the stay is never pleasant 'cause being sick sucks (😅) so receiving a whole coloring book will no doubt brighten the day of any tired, sick

Personal News Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday! Wow, what a week!! I kept attempting to sit down and make this journal last week but I just could not get to it. This week anyways has started off with a bang! I received the most amazing notification I have ever received--I was selected for the deviousness award!! The US, EU, China, and Great Britain have agreed with the text of the first international declaration on artificial intelligence (AI), which states that this new technology poses a potentially "catastrophic" risk to humanity. At the conference in Great Britain, which took place on November 1 and 2, 28 countries signed the so-called Bletchley Declaration, named after the meeting place of the officials. "There is the potential for serious, even catastrophic, harm, whether intentional or unintentional, arising from the most significant capabilities of these AI models," the text of this document states. The declaration does not agree to establish an international artificial intelligence testing center in the UK, as some in the British government had hoped.
